Full original description
The City of Northfield is seeking qualified professional planning and engineering teams to develop a Safe Streets and Roads for All Action Plan. The City of Northfield lies in Rice and Dakota Counties, Minnesota approximately 40 miles south of St. Paul. Northfield is a growing community of approximately 22,000 residents currently. Minnesota Highways 3 and 19 serve as the main arterials for the community. The City will provide a 20% match providing a total project budget of $375,000. The purpose of the grant is to develop a safety action plan with the aim of reducing and eliminating roadway fatalities and serious injuries in Northfield.
