RFP – 2026 Cortez Recreation Center Roof Replacement Project

The City of Cortez is soliciting bids for roofing improvements at the Cortez Recreation Center Building (425 Roger Smith Avenue), in accordance with the plans and specifications. Proposal shall include a 20-year (NDL) Manufacturer Warranty and shall consist of new coverboard, tapered insulation (minimum R-30 equivalent), 60-mil TPO membrane or approved equivalent product, coping cap metal, modify existing roof drain assemblies as necessary to restore positive drainage, new parapet caps, new edge flashing, and all manufacturer-required sealants and accessories necessary to complete the work. The City of Cortez reserves the right to waive any formality or any informality in the process of awarding a proposal. The City of Cortez reserves the right to accept any proposal, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all proposals if it be deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
