Competitive bid for internet access and data transmission services for Henderson County Public Library District (Library, 1 eligible entities), funding year 2027.
Requested services:
• Data Transmission and/or Internet Access – Internet Access and Data Transmission Service (qty 1 Each; capacity 500.00 Mbps to 1024.00 Mbps)
• Data Transmission and/or Internet Access – Category One Network Equipment (qty 1 Each; capacity 500.00 Mbps to 1024.00 Mbps)
The library is seeking bids/proposals for Internet Access and Data Transmission Service at the 500Mbps-1Gbps capacity.The library is seeking bids/proposals for any/all Category One network equipment necessary to make its Internet connection functional.
Only bids/proposals clearly delineating eligible and ineligible products and services and their associated costs/percentages will be considered. SPAM and/or robotic responses will not be considered valid bid responses and will be disqualified from consideration.As required by E-Rate rules, all bids in response to this Form 470 must offer the Lowest Corresponding Price.Successful bidder/proposer must be able to provide invoices clearly delineating eligible and ineligible amounts. For Basic Maintenance of Internal Connections, Managed Internal Broadband Services, and Category 2 hardware the winning bidder/proposer must cost allocate eligible from ineligible services on invoice(s). For Internet Access & Data Transmission, Transport Only, and ISP service, bidder/proposer must identify the type of service solution proposed (i.e., fiber, copper, microwave, or coax).For Internet Access & Data Transmission, Transport Only, and ISP service, bidder/proposer must identify all projected applicable eligible MRC taxes, fees, and other charges.For Internet Access & Data Transmission Services, Transport Only, and ISP service, both one year and multiple-year contracts with voluntary extensions may be considered.For all Category I and Category II services, the service provider agrees to provide a service start date of 07/01/27.Bids/proposals shall include shipping charges where applicable.A Scope of Work must be included for any installation services listed on this FCC Form 470.To achieve the most cost-effective solution, the applicant reserves the right to purchase items in quantities other than specified.
Bids must be considered through 2026-11-02; the applicant may sign a contract on or after that date.
