Competitive bid for internet access and data transmission services for Margate City Public SCH Dist (School District, 3 eligible entities), funding year 2027.
Requested services:
• Data Transmission and/or Internet Access – Category One Maintenance and Operations (qty 2 Each; capacity 1024.00 Mbps to 51200.00 Mbps)
The Margate City Board of Education is seeking competitive proposals for an annual basic Maintenance and Operations (M&O) contract to support the district's existing, owner-owned fiber optic Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure. The specific scope of work covers a single, district-owned 12-strand single-mode fiber optic cable path connecting William H. Ross III Intermediate School to Eugene A. Tighe Middle School. The total physical span is approximately 0.2 miles (approx. 1,050 linear feet) running between the designated IT termination spaces at both facilities. All labor rates must strictly comply with New Jersey Mandated Prevailing Wage Rates where applicable. All vendors must have a valid SPIN and current SPAC.All vendors must meet certification requirements prohibiting the inclusion of any products or components from Huawei, ZTE, Hytera, Hangzhou Hikvision, Dahua, or any other covered company designated by the FCC. Please provide the district with e-rate eligibility percentages and SKU# for all items that are listed on the bid response. All ineligible services must be identified. The deadline for vendor proposals is 12:00 noon EST on 11/23/26.
Bids must be considered through 2026-10-30; the applicant may sign a contract on or after that date.
