Cleaning and reshaping non-paved ditches – MARIANNA MAINT – WDD – NON PAVED DITCH CLEANING (Washington County)

District Office Letting 03261022 (District 3), proposal E3Z81-R0. The Improvements under this Work Document-Driven Contract consist of cleaning and reshaping non-paved ditches in the state roadway system within Jackson & Washington Counties. This work includes removal and disposal of fallen trees, vegetation and other debris located within the ditch area to maintain maximum drainage function. This contract has a Budgetary Estimate of $200,000.00. The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item. The Department estimated quantities and the Contractors bid price will be used to calculate a total bid amount. This total bid amount will then be used to determine the low bidder, however, actual payment under the awarded contract will be based on actual quantities completed. For this Contract in which specific sites are not identified at the time of letting, the Engineer will issue a Work Document. Work Documents will identify the location, description, amount of work to be accomplished, and the number of calendar days to complete the work. A Proposal Guaranty will be required on indefinite quantity contracts, such as work document driven contracts, with a Departments advertised estimate amount greater than $150,000 regardless of the bid amount.
