IFB #27-06 Municipal Building Cleaning Services

Late bids will not be accepted regardless of the reason for lateness. Bidders assume the risk of delays in the mail or in the handling of the mail by city employees. The bidding for and award of the Contract for this project are to be in accordance with the requirements of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 30B. The walkthrough will begin at the Public Library located at 149 Main Street and continue on to include the City Hall Annex located at 62 Friend Street, the Cultural Center located at 37 Millyard, and The Municipal Development Center located at 39 South Hunt Road. Prospective bidders must attend the entire walkthrough for their attendance to be counted. No additional walkthrough times are available. Bid documents containing specifications, requirements, and conditions are available below as a related document. Questions will not be received after 5:00pm on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 . Contract Award is subject to availability of Funding through The City of Amesbury. No Bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of thirty days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays after the actual date of the opening of bids. The City reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids, or take whatever action is determined to be in the best interest of the city. The City of Amesbury will reject bids from bidders with unsatisfactory reference checks.
