Full original description
Competitive bid for internet access and data transmission services for Anderson County School Dist (School District, 9 eligible entities), funding year 2027.
Requested services:
• Data Transmission and/or Internet Access – Leased Dark Fiber (qty 6 Fiber Strands)
• Data Transmission and/or Internet Access – Leased Lit Fiber (qty 5 Each; capacity 10240.00 Mbps to 102400.00 Mbps)
Anderson County Schools (ACS) is taking Request for Proposals from qualified vendors to provide a WAN solution for up to 10 gbps or higher fiber installations/service between locations. ACS may seek USF funding for this service so all proposals for managed service must have a Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) on file with the Universal Service Administration Company. The proposed start date is July 1, 2027
Entity adheres to all state, local and Board of Education laws and policies of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
Bids must be considered through 2026-10-28; the applicant may sign a contract on or after that date.
