Full original description

Competitive bid for internet access and data transmission services for Centennial Public Schools (School District, 4 eligible entities), funding year 2027.
Requested services:
• Data Transmission and/or Internet Access – Internet Access and Data Transmission Service (qty 1 Each; capacity 1024.00 Mbps to 1024.00 Mbps)
Centennial Public Schools is soliciting proposals for 1 Gbps fiber-optic internet service to enhance the security, reliability, and resiliency of the district's network infrastructure. The proposed internet connection will support network segmentation, allowing critical systems and sensitive district data to be isolated from other network traffic. This layered approach is intended to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, limit the potential impact of cybersecurity incidents, and strengthen the district's overall network security.Additionally, the internet connection will support improved network traffic management and redundancy, enhancing network performance and service availability while reducing reliance on a single connection. These capabilities will help maintain access to critical instructional and administrative applications and services in the event of an outage or service disruption.
Contracts will be awarded only after receiving a funding commitment and decision letter from SLD or agreed upon by the district. This RFP will automatically become part of any contract awarded to a vendor. The District requests vendors to file a Form 474 (Service Provider Invoice; SPI) to request reimbursement directly from the program administrator for the eligible E-Rate portion of the contract.
Bids must be considered through 2026-10-20; the applicant may sign a contract on or after that date.
