Full original description
St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC), on behalf of the Land Reutilization Authority of the City of St. Louis (LRA) and other agencies it staffs (LCRA and PIEA), seeks proposals for tree trimming and/or tree removal services to create a short list of contractors for trimming and/or removal of large and dangerous trees and clean-up on an emergency basis. Contractors will be called on an as-needed basis to address urgent situations on properties the agencies own and manage.
Scope of work: tree removal to ground level; tree trimming back to a safe condition; trees will be marked "XC" for removal and "TC" for trim. Emergency bid packages are awarded to the lowest qualified bidder available for the emergency service, with completion within 1–10 days depending on severity and weather. The contractor furnishes all supervision, labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and services.
